Let’s go to first question, What is a domain name?
A domain name is unique address of a website on the internet, like your home address or phone number. When somebody type in into their browser to visit your website (e.g., “sunariya.com” or “sscarea.com”). It’s much easier to remember than the actual numerical IP address of the website.
How domain names work:-
Domain Name System (DNS) plays an important role in accessing a website. When someone types a domain name into their browser, the DNS acts like a phonebook, translating the domain name into the corresponding IP address. IP address is the website’s numerical address that computers use to communicate with each other. Domain name have two parts, first domain name & other is extension. In the example of sunariya.com or sscarea.com or sunariya.in. Sunariya & SSCArea are the domain name & .com and .in are the domain extensions. Some of Top-level domain (TLD): The ending part, like “.com,” “.org,” “.net,” “.info,” “.edu,” “.co,” “.in” and many more.

How to get your own domain name:
There are a lot of domain registrar are working in the world. You can buy your desired domain name from any of them.
Some of the companies that register domain names are GoDaddy, Bigrock Namecheap, Google Domains, Bluehost, and others. You can only register a domain name which is not taken by anybody else. Like google.com is owned by Alphabet Inc. Use the registrar’s website to search for available domain names that match your desired name and TLD.
